AGENTIC AGILE

Tooling

The methodology, wired into your workflow.

Agentic Agile works with any agent tool. These are the implementations we've built — an open traceability standard, editor plugins, Commands, and hooks that wire the methodology into your workflow as a convenience, not a requirement.

Most of these will be open source. Some may ship as part of paid projects. Either way, everything here is still in development — nothing is available yet.

Open Standard

Anchor File

COMING SOON

A repo-level artifact that maps tickets and spec phases to the files they touch. Editor-agnostic, ticket-system-agnostic, and open — any tool can read it. The anchor file is the product; everything else is built on top of it.

Supports Jira and Linear in v1. YAML format. Lives at the project root alongside your spec file.

Editor Plugin

VS Code Plugin

COMING SOON

Open any file and see the ticket it belongs to, the phase it's in, the assignee, and the acceptance criteria — without leaving the editor. The anchor file does the work; the plugin puts it where you need it.

Full VS Code extension. Sidebar view, inline decorations, anchor entry authoring. JetBrains planned.

Command

Review Command

COMING SOON

A Command that runs the full Review ceremony. The agent leads — asks questions about what was built, surfaces gaps against the spec, and records decisions before closing the phase.

Works with any ticket system. Outputs a structured Review Record.

Hook

Phase Hook

COMING SOON

A pre-session hook that checks a Spec File entry exists before Build begins. The agent won't start without defined scope and completion criteria.

Configurable per project. Supports Markdown, Jira, and Linear spec formats.

Templates

Spec File Templates

COMING SOON

Opinionated Spec File templates for Markdown, Notion, and Linear. Each includes phase entry format, completion criteria structure, and Review Record layout.

Three variants: solo developer, small team, and Scrum team with SM.

Playbook

Team Adoption Kit

COMING SOON

A facilitation guide for Scrum Masters introducing Agentic Agile to an existing team. Covers the first sprint, role onboarding, and how to run the Escalation Ceremony.

Includes a worked example sprint with real phase definitions and Review Records.

Stay in the loop

Tools ship when they're ready. In the meantime — the guide covers the full methodology.
